Systems Engineering

Systems Engineering is a field that deals with the design, programming, implementation and maintenance of systems.

The department uses an interdisciplinary approach to study and understand key concepts in order to implement or optimize complex systems.
System Engineering does not build tangible products but uses the abstract methods of Systems Science. Some tools used by the department are modeling and simulation, optimization, dynamic systems, reliability analysis and decision analysis.
