One of the main objectives of the Institute of Engineering is to train researchers and staff through the conducting of research activities. In this regard, training of human resources is a primary and irreplaceable activity of the Institute. The same may be said about participating in the research and solution of engineering problems typically at national level, the Institute spends part of its efforts in training engineers, teachers and doctors in technical capability.

Thus, the academic staff is actively involved in teaching both undergraduate and graduate students. The three graduate programs available by the Institute are: Master's and Doctoral Program in Engineering, Graduate Program in Science and Computer Engineering and Master's and Doctoral Programs in Urban Planning.
