Work priorities of this unit are:

1. To support graduate programs and promote and disseminate their activities.

2.  To evaluate and propose institutional policies to improve staff and professor's activities in the Institute and thereby improving the education of students.

3.  To collaborate in the academic organization and management of graduate programs and provide any materials needed.

4. To coordinate administrative activities and support the development of students in graduate studies.

5.  To promote, coordinate and support exchanges with other academic offices participating in graduate studies.

6. To comply with the director to ensure the proper resources required by students, professors and researchers are covered for each area of graduate studies. To represent the director, when needed, in committee meetings.

7. To summon, with the consent of the director, the Internal Council and preside over it.

8. To support the work of professors and other staff members in graduate programs and keep them informed of new policies, procedures, and projects.

9. To insure that current legislation is followed.
