Administration and Planning Council

The Administration and Planning Council (CAP) assists the academic-administrative operation of the Institute. Its members include the director, who serves as chairperson, the administrative secretary, serving as secretary, the academic secretary, and three assistants to the director; also the technical, planning and academic development secretaries, the head of the Publicity and Communication Unit, as well as the Contracts and Agreements Unit, Contract and the Computing Department Coordinator.

The CAP meets when called upon by the director in addition to four meetings per year.
The council advises the planning, operation and general policies to be established at the Institute. It also evaluates the activities of the administrative staff and of the service units and makes recommendations on how to develop productivity, quality, responsibility, efficient use of resources and contribution to institutional goals. It also establishes and modifies responsibilities of the service units according to the guidelines defined by the Internal Council.

The CAP is in charge of establishing the necessary rules to operate the administrative structure as established by the guidelines of the Internal Council.
