How To Get There

If you arrive by:
a) Public transportation and

1. Walking

Eighteen buildings belong to the Engineering Institute located at Campus "Ciudad Universitaria". You may arrive to most of them, except buildings 9 and 10, by walking from the subway station named: "Universidad" (line 3), towards the dean's office (northwest). You may also walk from the station "Copilco" (line 3) towards the closed fronton fields (southwest). You can arrive by Metrobus to the station called "C.U." and walk on Insurgentes Avenue towards northeast on the green path or from the Metrobus station "Doctor Gálvez", also on Insurgentes Avenue, and walk towards the southeast. It takes approximately 15 minutes in each case.

2. Free on-campus transportation "PUMABUS"

· From the subway station “Universidad”

You should take the route 1 bus, (green Pumabus), until the stop called “Química” or “CELE” if you are bound to buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17 or “Torre de Ingeniería” (Engineering Tower). To reach buildings 12 or 18 you should take route 6 bus (orange Pumabus) and get off at the stop called “Posgrado de Ingeniería”.

· From the subway station “Copilco” (line 3)

To reach buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17 or “Torre de Ingeniería”: walk on the street “Cerro del Agua” until you cross the blue coulter, which is the entrance to the campus. Then walk until you reach the Pumabus station “Psiquiatría y Salud Mental”. Take route 1 (green Pumabus) and get off at the stop named “Química” or “CELE”.

· From the Olympic Stadium at Ciudad Universitaria

Take route 8 of the Pumabus (blue) and get off at “Frontones” or take route 7 (golden Pumabus) and get off at the stop “Química”. If you want to reach buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17 or the “Torre de Ingeniería” or buildings 12 or 18 take routes 8 (blue Pumabus) and 9 (red Pumabus).
· From the Metrobus station "C.U."
Take route 8 (blue Pumabus) and get off at “Frontones”.

b) By Car

The Institute of Engineering does not have a parking lot for visitors. Park at the Olympic Stadium parking lot if you want to go to buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17 or the Torre de Ingeniería. Take Pumabus rout 8 (blue) and get off at “Frontones”.
If you want to go to buildings 12 and 18 take route 8 (blue Pumabus) or route 9 (red Pumabus) and get off at “Posgrado de Ingeniería”. To reach buildings 9 or 10, take route 6 (orange Pumabus) from the Olympic Stadium and get down at “Jardín Botánico”.
A second option is to park at the subway station "Universidad" and take route 4 (brown Pumabus) and get down at the same stop, "Jardín Botánico".
